Tangled Roots Psychology

Sally Merrick is a psychologist in Harvest Hills, Calgary, Alberta. She believes in approaching mental health holistically and experientially. She works from a neurobiologically and trauma-informed perspective. She utilizes body-centred approaches, emotion-focused approaches, and mindfulness in her work with clients. She believes in helping clients develop self-awareness and a deeper understanding of the more unconscious feelings and beliefs that influence thoughts and behaviours. In doing this, she is able to address the root of the issue to create lasting change. She also has a special interest in ecopsychology, which examines how clients’ relationship with nature influences their experience and mental health.
