Portfolio Center

Founded in 1977, the Portfolio Center is one of the oldest schools for communication arts in the United States. It offers a variety of full-time training courses in areas related to design and art direction, advertising, copywriting, illustration, media architecture and photography. The center s photography curriculum includes introduction to photography, Photoshop, studio lighting equipment techniques, advanced lighting methods and portfolio classes. The Portfolio Center s art direction department offers classes in design aesthetics, typography, figure drawing, brand communications, and concept and visual translation. In addition, it provides instruction in advertisement concepts and emotive and lyrical writing. The Portfolio Center is located in Atlanta.
